May 16 and 17, 2008 The Stotesbury Cup
The Stotesbury Cup regatta claims to be the largest gathering of high school athletes in the US. Crews from as far away as Florida and from up in Canada come to compete. So it is with great excitement that the LM Crew joins the many others in this two day rowing regatta each year. Victory is a relative term for so many as so few can come away with a 'gold medal'. With 30+ crews competing in a single event, beating 10 or 15 crews is a huge success as many tend only to come long distance if they feel they can be really competitive.
